our story
TinyScapes — Built from Friendship, Rooted in the Land
Some ideas begin in boardrooms. Ours began the way most good things do — over a long meal, with old friends, and a conversation that refused to end.
We are three. A hospitality soul who grew up watching strangers become family at the dining table. A lawyer who learned early that the finest arguments are made not in courts, but around campfires. And a consultant who, somewhere between policy briefs and city deadlines, put her hands into the soil and never quite wanted to pull them back out.
We have been friends since school. And for just as long, we have shared a quiet restlessness — a feeling that travel in India was telling only a fraction of its own story.
TinyScapes was born from that feeling.
It was also born from a farm. A living, breathing permaculture farmland that one of us tends with care and intention — growing food the way it was always meant to be grown, slowly and in conversation with the earth. It felt like the perfect place to begin.
Our belief is simple: that the most meaningful escapes are not the grandest ones. That there is extraordinary beauty in open land, in unhurried mornings, in knowing where your food comes from and who grew it. That slowing down is not a luxury — it is something we have forgotten we are allowed to do.
But TinyScapes is more than a place to rest. It is part of a longer vision — to walk alongside small and mid-size farmers and landowners across India, helping them unlock the quiet potential of what they already own. To invite travellers not just to see India, but to genuinely feel it — beyond the well-worn paths of the golden triangle, into the landscapes and communities that have always deserved a closer look.
We are just beginning. But the roots go deep.
